Traceability review
End-to-end tracking from manufacturer to shipment — every batch carries documented provenance and custody records.
How we maintain traceability
Every component batch in our system carries a traceable record linking it back to the original manufacturer or authorized distribution channel. We track lot numbers, date codes, purchase order references, and warehouse movements.
This chain-of-custody documentation ensures that if a quality issue arises post-delivery, we can rapidly identify the source, scope of affected inventory, and provide corrective actions with full transparency.
When traceability is required, the RFQ should state the necessary records and acceptance criteria. Relevant lot, date-code, label, packaging, and document information can then be discussed as part of the sourcing and order review.
How this quality program works
Receiving Registration
Each incoming batch is registered with supplier PO number, lot/date code, quantity, and receiving date in our inventory system.
Label Cross-Check
Physical labels are compared against supplier documentation — MPN, lot number, date code, quantity, and country of origin must all match.
System Entry & Linking
Batch data is linked to the original purchase order, supplier qualification record, and any inspection results.
Storage Assignment
Components are assigned to tracked storage locations with environmental monitoring (humidity, temperature) where applicable.
Outbound Tracing
When shipped to buyer, the traceability record is attached — connecting the customer PO back through our inventory to the original source.

Common questions about traceability requirement review
Can I get traceability documents before shipment?
Yes. We can share lot traceability records, date code confirmations, and chain-of-custody logs before or with your shipment.
How far back can you trace a component?
We maintain records back to our direct supplier. For authorized channel purchases, this connects directly to the manufacturer.
What if a date code is older than expected?
We flag date codes exceeding customer-specified age limits during incoming inspection and notify before shipment.
Need traceability documentation?
Request lot records, chain-of-custody logs, or date code verification for your upcoming order.
