OVERVIEW

How we inspect incoming components

Every batch received at our facility undergoes incoming quality inspection before release to inventory. Our IQC process covers visual inspection, label verification, packaging integrity, quantity confirmation, and sample testing per AQL standards.

Components failing any inspection criteria are quarantined immediately. We issue non-conformance reports to the supplier and initiate corrective actions. Buyers are never shipped components that have not passed our incoming inspection gate.

Incoming inspection expectations should be agreed before release. The scope may include labels, packaging condition, part marking, quantity, and the visual checks required by the buyer or selected partner.

QUALITY PROCESS

How this quality program works

01

Packaging Integrity Check

Verify outer packaging condition, moisture barrier bags, humidity indicator cards, and ESD protection compliance.

02

Label & Documentation Verification

Cross-check MPN, lot number, date code, quantity, and country of origin between physical labels and shipping documents.

03

Visual Inspection

Inspect component physical condition — lead coplanarity, marking clarity, signs of oxidation, mechanical damage, or remarking.

04

AQL Sample Testing

Statistical sampling per AQL standards for dimensional, electrical, or functional verification depending on component type and risk level.

05

Release or Quarantine

Passed batches are released to inventory. Failed batches are quarantined with NCR issued and supplier notified for corrective action.

DOCUMENTS & EVIDENCE

Defect Classification Log

Record of any defects found during inspection classified by severity (critical, major, minor).

Quarantine Report

Documentation for rejected batches including photos, defect description, and disposition decision.

Inspection Photos

Photographic evidence of packaging condition, labels, component markings, and any defects found.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common questions about incoming inspection requirement review

Can I request enhanced inspection beyond standard AQL?

Yes. We support tightened inspection levels, 100% screening, or custom test criteria based on your requirements.

What AQL level do you use by default?

General Inspection Level II with AQL 0.65 for critical defects and AQL 2.5 for major defects, per ISO 2859-1.

Do you test electrical parameters?

For high-risk or customer-specified components, we perform basic parametric testing. Complex functional testing can be arranged with third-party labs.

How quickly are inspection results available?

Standard inspection results are available within 24 hours. Enhanced or third-party testing may take 3-5 business days.
